What scanners are available that are capable of scanning 220mhz Passport radio systems?

No scanners can track a passport system. However most modern scanners will cover the band and hence you can always listen in conventional mode.

Probably not. There just isn't enough call for it to be feasible from a business standpoint. Now if you have an interest, I suggest you search through the topics in the LTR Systems forum. There have been programs written which will track LTR systems and you may find some help there.

Just curious, where are you finding a LTR Passport system in th 220 MHz range?

You could say that... :wink: I also happen to need a new scanner as my 2048 doesn't even support analog trunking... although we are supposed to go to digital eventually...

Hello,

The LTRDump / LTRTrunk Programs are in beta and do a decent job with Passport.

If you are down near Baltimore/DC area there is the Mobex system on 217 MHz that uses passport.

The Baltimore system comes in S8 downtown. If you put your radio in SSB mode, you can hear the data burst rather well...
