Does anyone know if Colonie PD are on a new talk group? I haven't heard anything on the scanner from them in a week.

Just heard them last night? And EMS. And Fire. Metro Cell.
The on-line feed, or on your scanner? I have Metro cell programmed in my scanner and I'm receiving all the other town services on Metro Cell, just no police. It's been this way for about a week.

After enabling the receipt of encrypted channels on my G5, I too have had numerous hits on the Colonie PD traffic channel. Too bad, as there was always a lot of activity in Colonie. As an aside, I recently heard transmissions in the clear during a protest on the Bethlehem PD Tac channel, which is listed as full-time encrypted. So it pays to program all encrypted channels into your scanner just in case.
Check the Albany County listings. Lots of updates in the past couple days!
