A Third generation Irishman from Boston looking for the most BASIC infomation on scanning Ireland.
Specifically, Law Enforcement (Country/county/city), County Fire, maritime, railroad, etc.

I am a General Class Ham who knows his way around the US, but is proud to say the knows NOTHING about scanning Ireland.

I am not looking for any tutorials, I don't know enough to appreciate them.
Basics for now and more questions later.

From what I've read and heard scanning Law Enforcement in the UK( Northern Ireland) is illegal, but not in Ireland. I would suggest asking BOARD FAILTE (Irish tourist board) about it since you are a general class ham.
