I disagree. That is too general of a statement when there are very specific laws depending on what state you are in. All it does is add to the misinformation .. to quote verbatum from the website that I posted above (hint-hint):bottom line, unless you have a license it is ILLEGAL!!!
How much more easier can that be??If scanners are known to be either illegal or restricted in any states they will be listed below, with links to the text of the law, if known. If a state is NOT listed below, there is NO known scanner law.

As old police cars get retired, why NOT purchase police cars that can run on diesel and/or biodiesel from resturants. Wouldn't this be cheaper?
