Scanning MMDVM

Hello Everyone,
I am trying to scan my MMDVM running Pi-Star. I have DMR/MotoTRBO activated on this scanner. I have it setup as a DMR One Frequency system, I have the hotspots frequency and color code programmed in under site and all the talkgroups programmed in under one department. When the scanner is scanning and something comes across the hotspot or I use my radio to talk to the hotspot the scanner's dispalay doesn't change but only adds "DMR" flashing. The same is true when I am holding on the exact talkgroup with activity.
I think I remember an old post about scanning hotspots with the BCDx36HP radios but can't seem to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

DMR One Frequency Not RX when scanning

I think there are persistent issues with the reliability of achieving good decodes using DMR One Frequency. Conventional programming seems to work much better.
