I have two VHF freqs (2 FDs) set for selective call. Each is defined in Z1 on a separate knob position. Each knob position defines a subset of stations from the respective FD by tone…and work perfectly when on the knob position.

I set another knob position to "normal scan" the two selective call positions. I'm getting ALL calls from each FD, rather than only the selective call stations. The tone defined stations are alerting properly though. But not what I need!

The need is scan two freqs for only the stations defined by tone.

Either I'm doing something wrong…or scanning selective tone doesn't work? Or is this where "silent scan" is useful?
