scanning no action on the bcd436hd

just bought two weeks ago it worked for a couple of days now nothing i did the vary simple setup.. even tried the update to see if that would work but still nothing..can anyone help

What does the screen say? Did you try a simple enter your zip code and let the scanner do it's thing, or were you attempting to make custom favorites?
