You can enter a trunked system into a bank, then scan that bank in "open" mode, and it will display all active talkgroups as it stops on them.

No, you can put only one trunked system per bank.

No, you can put only one trunked system per bank.

So if I have 9 banks, I can only have 9 trunked systems..Right?

Question: Once the sub bank say 0 is full, I add the rest to sub-bank 1 and so on?

Thanks for the help...I'm still very new at this.. :D

Yes, you have a total of ten banks, that's ten trunked systems. The sub-banks are where you enter your talkgroups for each system. You can't put another trunked system into a sub-bank.

I understand this: There are the freq for the talk groups that go in the main banks... And the talk group id's go in the sub-banks..
There are 10 banks with 4 sub-banks..

Can I add more freq to a bank with other trunked freq then add the id to the sub...Will this work???

Thanks for answering my questions..
The help is great..
Hope my questions don't sound to stupid... :)

Lets get the terminology in some common form.

There are 10 frequency banks, which allow you to enter up to 100 frequencies of trunking type and/or conventional type. You can put conventional frequenices in with the Trunking freqeuencies but depending on type you can only put one trunking system or site in one bank. So yes, you are restricted to a max of 10 trunking systems.

Each frequency bank that is used for (at least in part) as a trunking system has 5 ID List banks which allow you to put 100 TG ID's (5 x 20 per list).

You cannot put frequencies in ID Lists and you cannot put TG in the frequency banks. There is no direct connection between any TG and any one frequency on any TRS that the Pro-95 can monitor.

Based on this set of rules, what exactly is your question again? :D

I think you answered it here..

New question:What type can I put in the bank with the conventional freq?
All my trunking is MOT..

Any kind, of course EDACS frequencies must be thier proper LCN slot, so obviously they get first pick. :)

So, If I understand this correctly, I have the 10 banks, wich I can have ten different trunking systems, + I can have conventional freq's in those banks also.. But the ECADS has to have priority for LCN..

OK.. Last question..the ECADS freq's, do they go in LCN just with the ECADS freq's? Or with all the freq's in the bank?

Thaks for all the help.. I'll get the hang of this soon..I hope..HA HA :D

The EDACS frequencies must go in first. Once the EDACS frequencies are properly entered, then any remaining space can be filled with conventional frequencies.
