Scanning Problems

I Recently purchased the new Uniden BCD996T and I'm having problems with picking up my local police and sheriff dept. I have programed everything for Knox County and Ind.Safe T and even the analog freq. but to no avail still not picking them up . So today I noticed that the local sheriff dept was working a chase close to my residence and thus proceeded to scan looking for freq. I finally searched on my Yaesu FT-60 amateur radio and found them on 954.7625. However I done a search again on radioReferance and could not find the freq that correspond to this . Can anyone help me with this ? Would love to recieve this traffic without having to use my HT .
