scanning PVT banks on BCT-8

Sorry for the stupid question, but I'm a newbie, and I just picked up a BCT-8, I may have missed it in reading the manual, but is there a way to scan all of the 250 frequncies that i have programmed into my PVT banks ( 1-5 ) at one time, or do i have to manually switch banks, in order to scan each set of 50 frequencies?...

I don't have a bct8 but most unidens will allow you to scan all banks. Simply press the bank number on the keypad and watch the screen. When the numbers 1 2 3 4 5 are all on the screen, you are scanning all 5 banks. That is the way my unidens work anyways.

I do know that you can scan pvt and hwy at the same time with the bct8. Instructions to do so are in your manual.
