Scanning software for Mac OSX

is there any scanning software for mac osx?

i have a pc, but i prefer the mac, mo'betta stability, compatibility, better OS, etc.

unfortunately not. some guy on this site has the windows in his. could one just put a windows say 98 from dell in a mac.

You can you some type of x86 emulation software, such as Virtual PC.

Yeah, I still use Virtual PC sometimes but not all software out there works with VPC. Including WIN96, due to the type of copyright protection, etc.

I also have a MAC and lack of radio control software is indeed a pain. I own an ICOM R8500 and have found a source that will allow control of this receiver as well as certain others, but I have yet been able to figure out how to use it. Believe me ... it's my lack of computer skills.
