I live in a building and the security uses Motorola CBs. I recently bought the Radio Shack Pro-164 Scanner. I am trying to figure out how to scan for the CB transmissions so I can hear them. How do I do this? Your help is greatly appreciated.

I dont think they are useing CB radios I think the Motorola radios you are talking about are VHF or UHF radios not CB radios.
But anyways they could be on any freq find the name of the Security Company and then you could find the freqs from the FCC .They could be on a trunked system or in the buisness band but they most likely are not on the 27 mhz Citizen Band .
You can also put a post in your state forum thread on Radio Reference and maybe someone could have the freqs for them as well .

Best method, since it's the building you're in, and so, very close to the transmitters, is to use the 'Signal Stalker II' feature of that radio (see your manual), to detect all close-by transmissions, and see which one is your guards.
