scanning wichita ks

does anyone out there know of a web site that has wichita PD? i have been using the site shoutcast and it always goes down. it's really a pain. if anyone can help me, thanks in advance. ampril

Sorry ampril, That seems to be the situation with me as well.
Ive tried to put up a link using one of several scanners and Ive been having probs with downloading from shoutcast. For some reason I cant get IE 6 to download from certain sites.

Ive looked into the reason why this is and I still am not able to make any changes. If I can get my DL problem sorted out I will dedicate a live feed.

Any help will not be turned down.

Rick may have an answer for this as I know he does quite a bit of listen to the Wichita Area. I don't know if he uses Shoutcast or not. According to one of his last posts, he was in Colorado, so it may be a bit before he replies.

Out of curiosity, besides shoutcast and possibley WinMedia Encoder, what do you use for braodcasting. In particular, I'm looking for something that can show the tags of what people are listening to.

I am back

Well I was able to escape from Colorado and have made it back to Salina. Not sure why, but I did. Just checked the links I have and neither of them work.

I am hoping that the LARGE PURPLE CREATURE will figure out his issues and have a feed up soon.

Not today, My buddy in IT couldnt get to me today... Look lik eWed or thursday he should neable to look at it.
