Still Only hearing the Sheriff's talk group 10116!

Same here over in Rensselaer County ,Only the one talk group 10116. some times you can hear both sides of the conversation , other times one side is scrambled.
so i think this system is going to have full time Encryption atleast with the the 2 tgids i have seen pop

I hope there is at least a few talk groups to listen too. otherwise the whole Schenectady Site is useless. and that would be a Bummer.
I seriously doubt that the subscribers of the system would agree with it being "useless".
Well if you can listen to some radio traffic then i guess it would not be that bad. I was just excited about some new talk groups.
i guess i should have made my statement easier to interpret a few talkgroups will have FT E
I should not have jumped the gun so soon. I am just anxious to hear some chatter . I will have to wait and see what talk groups are eventually listed and keep my ears open on that System.
i have multiple hits on most of the channels some have voice carried some are just mic clicks assuming its just testing at the this point
TGID 10315 is currently carrying traffic for an mci drill
I have been monitoring TG 10315 also , P252 and it comes in pretty good !
Mic clicks and carriers on “10302” this morning.
How active are these talkgroups? It’s been fairly quiet here. Maybe it’s time to re-check things! I’m getting 2-3 bars on a G5, but maybe something is wrong?
Not active yet they were testing all the consoles on each channel.
Well… listening all morning. Not a peep? Not even the lone TG I was getting?
From my monitoring, its just the FT E talkgroups that have traffic so far for SCSO. I have had about 10 talkgroups with mic clicks or testing so far.
My understanding is that all Law channels will be running Full time encryption and fire/ems will be in the clear.
I currently provide the county fire scanner feed, and plan to run a calls platform and an audio feed on the new system. I have everything setup and running, however since there has not really been any listenable traffic yet, I have not applied to start the streams.

I have a Motorola radio listening to the analog Scoita/Niskayuna frequencies, 851.1875 and 855.2125. I occasionally here traffic but not in a few days.
You're right, I am only hearing Rotterdam units now on any of the county PD analog channels.
