School Bus ops 155.5725 Lake County

I am again hearing what sounds like school bus operations on 155.5725, D172. I have had several CloseCall hits on this from the Lincolnshire and Indian Creek area today and a few times over the last year. The traffic I heard today referenced a "Millers Landing" subdivision, which there is one up in Crystal Lake.

I find no license for a school bus operation on this channel but there are a couple fire ops in the area but on difference PL's.

Any ideas?

No, it is a Public Safety allocation, which school buses qualify (from the old PS classification) . The only licenses are for some fire and police operations in the burbs.

It is definitely 155.5725, and I found the repeater output of 154.8075. I suspect it is either Lincolnshire District 103 or First Student as busses of both were in the area when I got CloseCall hits and they both had VHF antennas on them.

In listening to this for a bit I am pretty certain it is Lincolnshire-Prairie View District 103. All the stops and locations mentioned were in their area of operations.

I can not find any whisper of a license for either the repeater output (154.8075) or input (155.5725) however... The only license for District 103 is the clock setter on 72 MHz.
