Schuylkill co's "narrowbanding" solution

Well Narrowbanding is just making these radio shops money.. These already low budget fire companies will be fighting for narrow band frequencies which in our area are already wide spread or not avaliable. Be ready to hear not using the VHF radios for your area.

I was able to obtain a simplex frequency for our company VHF but the other station we could not obtain a new license and had to go UHF and use a VRS system which can be costly on top of the license its self.

Good Luck to Schuylkill County... Low band 46Mhz radios are mostly used for fire operations.

Anyone using radios between 30 and 50Mhz do NOT have to "narrowband" ;-)
