I have both Uniden BCD996p2 and BCT15x scanners and can't figure out how to get the SCOPE function to work. The "Easier to read" manual says to "Hold on any channel and press ● then 3" but when I do I get "Direct Entry i3" on the screen. Does this on both radios. I assume the "." means the key with ".NO" on it to the left of the "0" key? Its says band scope mode is assigned to the "3" key. Is there a more detailed explanation that I am not seeing?
