A while back, during my lunch (on my phone) I saw a reference to a scope feature mentioned with a link to a third party piece of software that is supposed to work on a PC with the SDS100. Does anyone recall where that is and if it is any good?

Possibly this?
I know exactly what you mean by that. The receiver are full of internal spurious signals, carriers of different frequencies that usually are not exactly on the same frequency you are monitoring, it will be one or two KHz off and those signals change in frequency depending of IFX and filter settings. If you ever use a cheap SDR dongle and look at the spectrum over a 1MHz range you'll see those spikes, or you can use the bandscope program for SDS100/200 to see those signals live in your scanner.

Thanks, that image looked cool, but I'm not on Facebook and never will be, sort of like I'll never get an Alexa. Is there another way to obtain the program?
I only joined facebook for that single group with all those fantastic programs. I do not use FB for anything else and only check in on the group once each month or something like that.
