What is this? It's not on my bc796d

NAC is used on digital systems, it is similiar to PL and DPL tones that are used on conventional systems.

Scott County uses NAC 293 on 155.565 MHz
Malden Police uses NAC 001 on 155.565 MHz

Without the ability to use NAC tones it is possible you will pick up both agencies on the the same freq.
