Scott County Fire

Scott County Fire appears to be using TG 71 for a Fire Talk-Around.
Heard two responding units communicating enroute, so this may be a Talk-Around as opposed to a Fireground TG.
This was the second time I have noticed traffic on this TG.

Welcome to the forum... and Kentucky!

The Scott TRS is evolving almost before our ears.... originally it was just the Georgetown PD folks and three or four talk groups that we could hear. Now most of the County is on the system with a few dozen monitored tg's.... unfortunately it is difficult to monitor that system in Fayette or Woodford County reliably because the Sadieville Tower si the tower of preference most of the time.... the Georgetown tower is below the relative horizon so it doesn't work too well to the west.

The first time I monitored 02-071 was at a motor vehicle accident where Sheriff's Deputies and Scott Co. fire personnel were operating... I haven't monitored a 00-071 yet, but that would be within the fire tg area.

If you can hear them well your help in figuring out the system would be wonderful....
