Hey guys. I'm spending this week in Scottsdale on business. Bring along my home patrol and ic-91ad. What's good for scanning and what are a couple of handheld friendly repeaters in those parts?

Since I can't copy and paste, go to the Arizona database and look up the Regional Wireless Cooperative (RWC) for Scottsdale PD under Simulcast H. Phoenix FD dispatches Scottsdale FD (among many others). Dispatch is on both 154.190 and TG 1795 on the RWC.

EMS repsonse is on TG 1614, K-deck 7. Fire response is ch. 11, 154.025. Also try ch. 5, 153.830 for NE Phoenix/Paradise Valley and ch. 7, 154.145 for Tempe. (PL's are 173.8)

Mountain rescue's and major medical response's can be heard on K-deck 10/11/12 TG's 1611/1610/1609. For Ham radio, 146.760 at Scottsdale Airport; 147.080 on Thompson Pk; 147.240 on Shaw Butte (All PL's 162.2) will get you started.
