Starting today, one of the BC125AT's went bad while at an air show. Any time I would try to edit a frequency or change the volume, the screen would go blank and rapidly flash (faintly) the proper information on the screen. However, whenever I was in normal scan mode, it worked completely normal.

It's working now that I am home, but is that a problem I should be concerned with? Can it happen when the radio gets too hot?

I don't have any specific knowledge, but, based on reading other posts I wonder if a display connector has become loose.

I was thinking the same thing. I'll send it in for repair and see if they're able to fix it

The 125AT is selling for $105 new. I have not checked recently but I would venture to guess a repair + shipping both ways has to be at least $80. It may be worth just buying a new one. Just a thought.

I am facing same issue with my device. Have you fixed your scanner? Do you know what was the issue?
