I bought these today from Radio Shack.

They were 12.99 for 5.
It took less than 1/2 of one of them to make a screen protector for the 436.

After cutting it out...
The screen protectors have a grid on them for this purpose.

Ready to apply the protector..

The after pictures aren't great.. but I tried. Here are multiple pics.. some flash..some no flash.. so you can see how I cut it.. and how it looks.
I did get one fairly large piece of dust stuck under there.. but it isn't a big deal. It is stuck under there.. but it won't scratch anything. Plus, you have to REALLY TRY to even see it. The only reason I saw it to start with was it was part of a large air bubble that I worked out. The dust stayed.

Just a heads up...

The protector hasn't been on long.. and the bottom left edge is starting to come up.
Not much.. just a little. If it says like it is now, there shouldn't be an issue.
It it gets worse.. i am probably going to get a zagg.

As far as I know, there are two main types of screen protectors.. stiff ones.. and softer "loose" ones.
I put a zagg on my garmin gpsmap60csx a long time ago, and it was easy, manageable, and extremely tough.
My only concern is using water to apply it. I am not crazy about doing that.
