So I had a Brain fart! I hit cancel during a write to my BCD-436. So I am getting the following error now:

"CITY DATA TABLE READ ERROR - PLEASE CHECK City Table_V_100.00.dat in SD Card"

Here is what I did:

1) Formatted SD Card
2) Wrote data from old SD Card back to existing card (Prob the corrupted data??)
3) Wrote files back to scanner...

Can anyone assist?

Thanks,
Sean

No sweat. . .

1. Re-format SD card as you did (hopefully with the SD formatter utility)
2. Insert SD card in scanner, or better yet a card reader on the computer (goes faster).
3. Do a "Clear User Data" (you may have to check the display all drives box for Sentinel to find where the SD card is - which drive letter).
4. Do a Write to Scanner, checking Erase the FLs box and Force Write Full database boxes.

You might update the Master HPDB in Sentinel with the latest and greatest before doing all this.

About 3 minutes of work and you should be back scanning.
