With the city 800 MHz system gradually migrating over to the 700 Mhz P25 system, I thought this might be a good time to start an unknown city system talkgroups thread. The San Diego city 800 MHz system has always been incomplete in the RR database, so when people find new talkgroups on the 700 MHz system they may really be "discovering" an existing public works talkgroup. The tables below are provided from Unitrunker. There is some overlap with the ScanDiego unknown talkgroups threads and some original content. It's been fairly difficult to ID a lot of the public works / city services departments due to lack of talkgroup names used, so I've tried to correlate radio ID ranges and verbal unit IDs when known.
If anybody has access to a San Diego City public works radio channel fleetmap, or knowledge of their unit ID format (for example 400 units, 700 units, 1900 units), that would be a big help.
Talkgroup tables are attached below. They will have to span multiple posts due to the 10,000 character limit of the RR forums.
