SDR# clipping

I've used SDR Sharp for a couple of ours last night and all was fine, but suddenly the audio started to sound like it was all chopped up, even on the strongest FM bands and there is no way to hear anything useful.
This is my first dongle and got it just a week ago. RTL2832U + R820T2.
