OP25 SDR CONFUSED

What do i need or where do I go to find out what i need,to get started monitoring p25 phase 1 system(s).... I already have a windows 10 laptop and a RTL-SDR RTL2832U R820T2 TCXO+BIAS T+HF dongle .......TIA

sdr trunk most likely will need two dongles.

What system are you trying to monitor? Like @awasser1 said you may need two dongles, or even more, or possibly one. If you specify which system you want to listen to then we can give you a better idea of what you will need.

One always needs more sdr's 😉

Was just a suggestion to get started with what he has on hand with 🤨windows😏

One does a decent job with 1 being there is only an option for a single audio output.

I dont notice allot a difference with 1, 2 or 3 sdr's.

I'm assuming you only want to monitor one site/county, do you see the one you want to monitor on the list of sites for that system?

That system is covered by several people in several counties on the broadcastify calls system. You might get more of a better-suited response on the Michigan forum about specifically what you may need. Sometimes different software can act funky with different systems, they know that system best and can probably advise better.
