Hello, l recently got UniTrunker up and running and now I’m looking for the best solution out there that would allow me to pick up my VIPER feed on my phone while I’m away from home. Just looking for the ability to listen while I’m remote. There are no Broadcastify feeds for my area.
Trying to keep this as low budget as possible.
I’m also looking into using SDR Trunk as it seems that it may be better suited for playing audio streams.
Thanks in advance

Rdio Scanner or Trunking Recorder, both free. You would need the PC connected to the web which would also require port forwarding in your router.

You could also install PC Anywhere or Team Viewer on phone and PC and be able to log in to the PC as if you were sitting at it.

have you checked Openmhz.com for a feed covering your area of interest? There are several NC VIPER feeds there.

Anydesk works well and passes audio
To add on, Google Remote Desktop works great also. It's a little finicky for it to work all the time but if you run dual or triple monitors like me you don't need to switch screens all the time like you do with anydesk.

Both are great programs and I do use both equally - neither are better than each other.
(google remote desktop also passes audio)

I shouldn't have commented since this thread wasn't about anydesk. So I removed the comment.

OP: SDRTrunk and RDIO Scanner. And if you don't want to set your own RDIO scanner up, there are plenty of people out there running RDIO that would take your county if you ultimately end up monitoring a whole county trunked system, which in turn could make what you send available to you while mobile using the RDIO Scanner app.
