Does anyone know of a way to remotely control an sdr on a Windows machine? I've seen NetRemote but it seems the website is dead for that plugin for SDR#. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The NetRemote plug-in for SDR# is available here via the GitHub repo releases page.
The download is an EXE installer which will install the DLL and update the plugins.xml into SDR# for you.
- This installer may not be suitable for the newer SDR# versions.

I'm guessing this is not what you think it is as it still requires you to make a program that can then connect to the plug-in and issue the JSON commands (as detailed in the GitHub page) that will control SDR#.

If your on a windows/Linux machine and the sdr is on another windows machine, Team Viewer, Real VNC etc gain you access to the PC running the sdr.

Hmm,, I don't get hounded with Teamviewer. But maybe once a year my activity triggers their AI into thinking I am using commercially and I have to fill out an online form stating I am not, and when they review closer, my access is reinstated. I maintain two family members PC's, my Pi, laptop, all my linux installs and my upstairs PC.

Essentially I'm looking for a Proscan equivalent for SDR. I'll take a look at the suggestions. I do have TeamViewer but they are also hounding me about commercial use just cause I sign in from work to my home computer.

What is spyserver and how does it work?

For the Spyserver option, you can configure 'spyserver.config' (using notepad) so it doesn't list/announce the setup as publicly available.

# List Server in Airspy Directory
#
list_in_directory = 0
