SDR# Scanner Plugins

I was fiddling with this last night and experimenting and wondered if the scanner plugin on the Russian site is authentic and valid? I am wanting to scan saved frequencies in a group, and set parameters in band, so is that the recommended best plugin? The 'updated' version is 2013.

Help me out here, please - what plugins/add-ons should I install to scan in SDR#?

I installed the FM Suite and everything went well until I opened SDR# and found that I have no sound. The audio disappeared for some reason. Go to Utube or any other program with sound and they are all working ok, computer audio is good, just no audio with SDR# after the FM Suite install. Any ideas?

Sounds like one of your audio inputs/outputs got reset? You are using dsd as well? Make sure your audio output in SDR# is your virtual cable and your audio input and output didnt change in dsd -i and -o

Yup, I updated drivers for virtual cable and all is well. Thanks for the help. SDR# is now working with scan.

I have DSD downloaded but haven't installed or applied it yet. In order to decode a simulcast system you need 2 RTL dongles, right? And another program for voice? I am just getting into it, I'm sure I will have more questions. I'm not even sure what all I need to get into Phase1 frequencies but I am reading up on it and I will jump into it soon. To decode a P25 Phase 1 voice channel you just need 1 dongle and dsd. To track a p25 system by CC you need 2 dongles DSD and FMP running. Or 2 dongles unitracker and DSD. You could also look into sdrtrunk. I do not do much with SDR and trunk tracking other than I have tried all options.
