I have SDR# Studio 1916 running and was wondering if anyone new how to make a scanner list to scan frequencies. I don't want to have to put in frequencies one by one, and was trying to figure out how to make a list of frequencies and import it into SDR# software so it would scan. Any idea how to do this.

Manually edit the scanner or freqman file in your sdr# folder
Looked at the Freqman file and it's a .DLL file, I would have to manually change every frequency one by one, I thought I could just make a .csv file with a list of frequencies and import it into the sdr# software.

you can use the Frequency_Manager_(FreqMan) plugin from here: 1.84 MB folder on MEGA

I already have frequency manager plugin, could you please tell me how to add multiple frequencies at one time, I can not find a way to do it.
Steve
You have to make a .csv file containing the frequencies you want. Then you click the link in post #4 above, which will convert the .csv file to "frequencies.xml", which is usable with the Frequency Manager plugin. The format of your .csv file must match the requirements mentioned in the link in post #4 above.

One of the plug-ins will let you Add a frequency with the GUI but obv that’s only good for a handful. I think all of the plug-ins should be uniquely renamed, they are confusing! But some of these all share the same XML file.

This also allows you to see what frequencies are landed on when using the scanner across large amounts of bandwidth like the MilAir band, btw. Very helpful when it lands to know what the frequency is.

The link you provided with the converter is very useful.

I wish there was a way to take the "frequencies.xml" file, convert it to .csv, edit it, then convert it back to "frequencies.xml".

I've been keeping clean list of "prepared in the right format" freqs in a separate google sheets "tab", then i do Download as CSV. then you can load that file into the web page i referenced and it should work. it's only a little clunky. be careful to not have any header rows (or just delete them in Notepad before uploading)
