I am listening to a P25 system - GCRCN for Cleveland Ohio. I downloaded all of the talk groups and set up an alias with the specific groups I want to listen too. How do I turn off the remaining talk groups? I have also gone in to the main list of all the other talk groups and muted them. with no luck. I can't seem to delete them either.

Create an alias called something like Blacklist. Set the talkgroup "range" to 0 to 65535. Turn the listen toggle to "off" and save. This will mute every talkgroup other than the talkgroups you have entered an alias for.

By default, SDRTrunk will not listen to a talkgroup unless it exists in the alias list. There is really no need to create a blacklist, instead only add the talkgroups that you want to listen to, leaving everything else off the list. If you downloaded every talkgroup, then every talkgroup is probably set to listen enabled by default. So either delete those aliases, or toggle listen OFF on the ones you don't care about.

Just note that on a technical note, the program will still attempt to tune to every active talkgroup even if you don't have them set to listen. This could be an issue if your dongle(s) can't cover the full bandwidth of all traffic channels.

Thanks! I do have them toggled off. Is there a file I can delete and start over again? I will then only download the ones I want.

How do I do this? I can only scan one alias at a time, right?
