Got a couple of R820T dongles from NooElec to see if I can monitor the LWIN P25 system here in Louisiana.
I followed the setup guide at SDRSharp UniTrunker Support.
With the wealth of information found here at RR I was able to get it all working in one day.
I am using a discone antenna and a couple of receiver pre-amps from a defunct cell site.
I now have a digital trunk tracking radio system that only cost $45.
