SDRconnect SDRconnect on Linuix Mint

Been trying to install SDRconnect on Linux Mint 22.2 Zara.
Have downloaded the file.
Ticked the box to allow execute.
Run does nothing.
Run in terminal works fine up to select Y and enter.
On enter the terminal just closes.
No install.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm my experience nothing 😀😂 I've tried a few times to use sdrconnect on Ubuntu, everything installs fine, runs great once 😀😀 after that it doesn't want to run

Well at least you got it to install.

Might be easier to just set up a Windows 10 or 11 virtual machine and just run them when you want to use/listen to SDRConnect. WINE just isn't perfect, especially when you want to run a niche program.

But if you want to keep trying, you could try running the installer through something like PlayonLinux instead just to simplify the process further in case you're doing something wrong. Playonlinux is mostly for games but I've used it to install and run various Windows programs too.
