I'm running DSDplus on an encrypted VHF P25p1 frequency. It is showing TG's and UID's. For a couple of UID's under the RadioAlias column it shows, in parentheses, a Latitude longitude. I hadn't encountered this before. I looked to see where these were and they were on roadways so I guess these are mobile. I didn't know 1. that this was done on a P25p1 system and 2 that DSDplus did this. Can someone enlighten me please.

Look in your DSDPlus directory for an executable called LRRP.exe and run it. It will load a map and should show the locations of the radios transmitting GPS data on the map if it is compatible. What version of DSDPlus do you have? This pic shows the active keys from LRRP in the free DSDPlus version.

If you have FastLane, search the notes.txt for LRRP and read from oldest to newest to see exactly what's supported.

Thanks Dave! I have the lastest version of FastLane. I knew that LRRP would do that I just didn't realize it would manifest it by putting it in the RadioAlias column. I'll put an Alias on those Radios just to see how it then shows. This was the first time I've seen it. None of the other sites here in FL have shown this.

From other reports the new Duke Energy P25 Phase II Harris encrypted system in Florida also does it. Unfortunately none of the systems in my area do it.

This sounds very similar to what DSDPlus does with D-Star transmissions. You can see this by finding a ham repeater that carries the Sunday night worldwide D-Star net.
