The new themes are nice but overall the UI feels really flat and hard to look at compared to the regular release. I think I prefer the cells to be more bordered off.

I agree, there should be a default back to original layout option. And font is not the same at 100%, or the rows are a little bigger at 100%.

I haven't installed it yet as I am traveling, but I'm sure this is a first pass and I'm confident it will improve. I'm generally not a fan of "dark" modes, but this is not a bad start.

I've tried it and there is a option to go back to the original layout. I believe it is under appearance in preferences. I also agree that there should be some light grey borders for the rows/columns. It's a good start, just needs some tweaks.

There is a light option in the appearance tab, but it nothing like the original layout. No grid lines, font and vertical spacing is different.

I'll chime in, txs to original op for the heads up....

The only time I look(stare) at my sdrtrunk is when I'm editing/adding systems. The rest of the time it just sits there too be glanced at to verify all is good. So I like the dark mode so I'm not being blasted with white glare...when I want to work on it, close and open previous version(nice thing being sdrtrunk isn't installed but extracted) I have backups of the user/sdrtrunk folder & user/sdrtrunk/Playlist folder incase of catastrophes 😀
