SDRTrunk SDRTrunk Playlist Editor > Aliases > Actions > Audio Clip - Not Working

I am trying to get SDRTrunk to play custom "audio clips" which can be set in the "action" section of the "aliases tab" in the "playlist editor". I would like different Talkgroup or Radio IDs to play different "Audio Clips" to grab my attention to major incidents. So far any audio clip I select fails to play the sound I have selected at all.

Is there a specific format audio file or a specific bitrate I need to assign to the audio clips I want to play? Maybe it needs to be in a specific folder? I am not sure I just don't understand why its not working and I can not find any information on this subject anywhere in the manual or the wiki.

I was using .mp3 files. I converted them to wav files and seems to be working now.

What is the best internet resource for instructions on the SDRTrunk platform?

Understood. I have read that but couldn’t find any info related to acceptable audio file types for the actions section unless I over looked it. Also I can not find anything on how to use the scripts. I really want to email or text me when certain radios are active on the system. Closest I have been able to find is Trunk Recorder which lets you email when I a talk group is active. (I know the last part is slightly off topic from the original post) just hoping someone might know.
