Would anyone know what this is and how to fix it? Seems to happen every day and a half resulting in Sdrtrunk having to be shut down and restarted.

Can you give us some info about your hardware setup, and has the program ever worked for you?

Program has been running without these errors for past year on Win 10 64 bit with Intel i7 4790 @3.60Ghz with 8gb ram with Airspy mini. I would fire it up and that was it. 4 5 10 days later it would still be running. Now it seems after a day or 2 it gets hung up.

Sounds suspiciously like a memory issue. Any other hardware changes recently? You can try the basics like changing usb ports, reseating cables, changing cables, etc. You could reinstall the program. Check if Java is up to date. Do you have another Airspy or set of RTL SDRs?

It does it with both my Airspy and Nooelec's. I have not done anything with this pc at all as far as hardware or software changes. This started about 2 weeks ago.

I would still re-seat the cables / sdr as usb connectors can be finicky. Changing ports and cables is basically free, and would eliminate that as a cause. I'd look at Java memory allocation as that is a known issue with the program - also an easy fix. There is a solution for this somewhere in these forums - I've never had to do it.

I increased the java mem a long time ago when I was getting "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space " errors but I am only getting the errors listed in the first post now.

I will reseat the dongles when I get home today and see if it cure these issues.

Weird. My installation runs 24/7 on a Linux box using an Airspy Mini without issue so I cannot reproduce the error. I do install Linux updates every few days, so the program gets restarted roughly once a week or so.

Now its locked on the control channel again. Not seeing the transferPointer is not initialized error just yet but its still early. Getting 100 percent on control channels reception wise and ppm is dead on. Will see what its saying later on..

Im not sure if its Harris or Moto. This is the system Suffolk County (Project 25) Trunking System, Suffolk County, New York - Scanner Frequencies

I am sure if @GTR8000 or @w2lie swing by they would know. I know the cc does alternate.

Is "starting and stopping usb master processor" the cycling of control channels? If so, I do not remember them changing as frequent as shown below. Maybe they do. I am going to try to watch the active cc during the day.

It's a Moto system. They "normally" do not rotate control channels. What site are you monitoring? I've never seen the behavior that your logs are showing which is why I suspect an issue with the USB device drivers or hardware related to USB. Have you tried nuking the installation then reinstalling SDRTrunk / rebuilding the Java libraries?

Its on win 10 did the install for download, unzip, and run Windows sdr-trunk.bat. Going to back up my playlists and redownload and try again. Before I do that, I think I am going to remote in to this pc from another pc and wipe and reinstall all the usb drivers for usbhubs and root usb stuff.

This is my logged startup. I have 2 control channels and 3 traffic channels enabled. Not sure if each traffic channel is considered a thread wrt the USB Master Processor, but 3 threads are running: 1, 3 and 4.

How did you install your SDR drivers under Zadig? Seems to be an issue according to the log. Can ou post a screenshot of Device Manager showing the SDR devices?

Is that the issue you see? If so, it does that when and if other software ( Unitrunker - DSDPlus ) is using the Nooelec dongles. If I start Sdrtrunk with all dongles available, that does not come up. I have been only using an Airspy mini with Sdrtrunk for the last few weeks.

I was also up between 2 and 3 am, and cc was 852.425 and as of now @ 9 15 am , its still the same cc.

This is from midnight till now. No entries since 4 am and it is still running good without errors. but it did start/stop a bit.

Are the Nooelec SDRs plugged into USB ports when running SDRTrunk? If so, I would unplug them and restart SDRTrunk and compare the log and see how the program runs. I'm also going to run my Windows installation of SDRTrunk and compare logs.

Note that I run Unitrunker 2.1 with both Nooelec and Airspy SDRs and I do not see any errors - you say that you do see similar SDR errors when running those programs. Can you post those errors / warnings?
