Would love to see them buy the IP and implement the alert light pattern that the Whistler product used and not just leaving it at one color

Usually a company will get absorbed into another company, much like GRE was when Whistler acquired GRE, its properties, both physical and intelligent were absorbed by Whistler. What remains to be seen is what happens to Whistler if in fact they go out of business.

They DID go out of business, not sure what you mean by “If they go out of business”

I really thought that by this time we would know for sure but I am waiting for that official press release and professional letter to its loyal customers that they are indeed out of business. We all know what the letter looks like since so many electronics companies have closed.

It would be nice to have that feature of the alert light staying lit until the transmission was over, I wonder if that could be done on a firmware update by Uniden if they were able to get the right to do it.
