yes, it’s normal.... check here:

It is totally normal for the case to get warm. As mentioned, RF Tuner chip by itself draws as much as the BCD436HP's max current draw. Add 2 CPUs. Not subtle warmth by any means, but totally normal.

Not sure where you live but here in MIchigan it makes a great hand-warmer!
