SDS-100 Programming Help Needed-Wickliffe DPW DMR

Assistance appreciated. I've programmed the Wickliffe (Lake County) DPW DMR channel via Sentinel. The scanner locks on the channel, though no audio comes thru.

Idea/Thoughts on how to correct. I'm a novice when it come to DMR. Thanks.

First question, have you purchased and applied the DMR key to your SDS100?

You add a DMR One Frequency system to a favorites list. Add a department for talkgroups. Add a talkgroup. The talkgroup ID's, Alpha Tags and Slots go into the talkgroups. Add a site. The frequency and color code go into the site.

To rule out an error in programming do you hear anything different via quick search mode? Press Channel key, enter frequency then press Channel key again

If he's a novice in DMR programming, probably lost him with this. He'll have to self-program an OFT system, and if he depends on uploading from Sentinel for programming only, will add to the confusion since OFT isn't allowed via upload.

Doesn’t mean they’re not using it. Common problem, the “Attention To” person on the license leaves or retires, and the renewal notification is lost in cyberspace or tossed in the trash by the head office.

I can confirm Wickliffe DPW is still transmitting on 453.7375. All transmissions were background MotoTRBO ARS data occurring every 5-10 minutes.

Your scanner may be programmed correctly, the lack of audio is probably because the activity your seeing is just non-voice data.
