Sds 100 sd card

I installed a Samsung 32gb EVO memory card but I get a SD card error. The original card works fine. Does anyone know what the recommended cards are for the SDS 100?

That should work if it's formatted correctly.

It has to be formatted with FAT32. Windows will only allow some cards to be formatted with NTFS or exFAT(Fat64). There's a neat utility I found that lets you format FAT32 cards even up to 128gb. Ridgecrop Consultants Ltd

I have the same Samsung EVO card in both my 436 and SDS 100. I had no issues with the 436, however, I did have an issue with the SDS 100.

What I did was copy the contents from my pre-installed SDS card over to the new card which I had installed in the computer. I then shut the SDS 100 off, swapped cards, and turned it back on and it worked fine. There is a YouTube video that Scanner Master put out showing this method on the card upgrade I believe in one of the Home Patrol units. That's where I got the idea to try it out and it worked.

Ok, I tried woodburyman suggestion but with negative results. I will give srpawski suggestion a try and see if it will work for me.

Theres the video I followed. I was able to find it again. He uses Sentinel to load the card in the card reader in the computer before he puts it back into the scanner. Either way, it worked for me.

I think there is a bug with the latest firmware where Sentinel is not recognizing the card when you try to clear user data when the card is in the SDS100. It does work with my BCD436HP. I was able to work around the SDS100 issue using the following steps:

Format the card as FAT32.
Clear Data using Sentinel with a card reader, not in the scanner.
Put the card in the scanner and I was all set.
