Sdscope -p comX
Replace X with the com port the scanner is using.
If you don't use that syntax it won't work. This isn't a win10 issue.

Yes the com port is 14 click on Run sdscope.exe it errors and disappears before I can enter
Are you just clicking on the SDSCOPE program? You have to use the CMD prompt, Go to the directory where the file is located and type SDCOPE.EXE -p COM 14
or in my case: C:Users\Ed>sdscope -p COM7
Open a command prompt and run the program from there. This is also where you can provide program arguments (i.e. the com port).

Maybe it's time to read the instructions. It was a short paragraph on the FB page.
Ok I got it to work with both SDS scanners just dragged sdscope icon over command prompt puts short cut in command line then added a space -p space com14 hit enter my com port is 14 takes about 5 seconds to load.

I assume uniden is working on software as well, it would be cool if sdr# or sdruno could be used
You used a primary email address for facebook? Always use a "throw-away" email address for that stuff!
I just do not care to deal with Facebook.
