Okay, another day another question - wouldn't grounding the coax (LMR-400) require two separate runs of the cable (using a grounding block)?
If you are talking about a static discharge unit, they are installed inline, just one cable run. The shield of the cable has a true ground, through the antenna mount, to the mast, which is to be properly grounded per NEC.
One word of advice, make sure you are buying genuine Times Microwave coax, not imitation Chinese garbage (plenty of that on ebay). If the seller won't specifically call out Times Microwave / if they don't picture coax showing the words Times Microwave printed on the coax, I wouldn't touch it. Even then there it could be counterfeit. The best bet is a reputable American seller. If you have a Ham Radio Outlet nearby, they should have all that you need in stock, and of course you can have them ship it as well. I usually buy from them, and I buy my LMR-240UF jumpers pre-made from showmecables.com, love that company.
