SDS100/SDS200: SDS100 antenna

Is there a better option for the stock SDS 100 antenna? If so does it cover the 25Mhz to 1300Mhz that the SDS100 is capable of.

The Remtronix only covers 7/800MHz and 300MHz airband. It's not a general purpose scanning antenna.

Mine works well on pretty much everything except vhf lo.

Be sure you get the one designed for the SDS100. The regular SMA connector is too fat and won't fit the SDS100.

Remtronix is pretty much the best duck for 800mhz. If you want to monitor air band or anything vhf/uhf you might want to look at other options. I have a Watkins W-889 angled telescopic antenna on my 125AT that works very well for air band and vhf/uhf business band, etc.

The 700/800 MHz antenna for the SDS100 is the REM-820S. That one includes an O-ring to maintain water resistance.
