SDS100/SDS200: Sds100 band defaults

Hi all. What are the band defaults used for in the sentinel for the sds100? Do they extend the range of reception? I usually listen to vhf, uhf and 800mhz fire/ems analog and p25 digital simulcast. TIA

No, they don't. Nothing to do with range of RX at all

No, they don't. Nothing to do with range of RX at all

The one thing that can effect reception is the "FILTER" settings...

Personally I find "Invert" works best to bring in distant TRSes, YMMV

Not sure of the specs on the stock antenna or where it resonates but if you’re scanning 3 bands, a tri-band antenna might be more practical.
