If you're sick of the medical ailments on the 2M band, come down to 40 meters and listen to the 7163 group in the mornings. The conversation deals with many things, but the leader (WB2REM) always brings it back to working DX. For something completely different, slide all the way down to the 160 meter band and give a listen to the Toad Harbor Net on 1930. This is always an education. If you like the digital thing, park your rig on the FT8 or FT4 frequencies for lots of short QSOs. This is a good way to fill your logs for WAS, DXCC, etc. If you are bound to VHF, give MSK144 a shot and bounce signals off meteors. I have worked a few stations that way with a 100 watt transceiver. There is a lot of spectrum, try something else.

I have a FL 'bank' of ham radio local repeaters and my SDS's both pick up repeaters 45 mi away on a rooftop discone. Just do as instructed and check all service types, Download & Monitor checked. Something small overlooked and not checked in Sentinel, most likely.

Sorry all, my last post was off-topic. As punishment, I will turn off my scanners for two minutes. @kslangnc, I hope your SDS100 is pulling in more ham action now. Have fun this amazing scanner.
