SDS100 Customized Color Display

Forgive my ignorance, but I’m not a techno savvy guy. Regarding the color display, is their a way to set the color differently for each individual agency or is it just the overall color you set for the system, department, channel, etc? Another words, if I wanted a police department to be blue and a fire department red is that possible? It did not appear so reading the manual and playing with the functions.

No. The color for a text box is always the same. The only color you can change on a per-channel basis is the alert light.

I have tried to find where to change per channel alert light on the scanner and the sentinel software. How do you do it for a preexisting channel? I hold the channel on the scanner and hit menu but cannot find the right menu option. In sentinel software there appears not to be any way to edit channel info.

Click the star with pencil and select the FL that has the channel. Drill down to the channel. The column is labeled "Alert".

You can't edit the database. Make a favorite list, and you can edit individual channels.

Thanx for the info, but thats alot of key strokes to change one thing, compared to what I would do to change it on my Whistler.
