Hi. I'm weighing up options for purchasing a SD100, I own the 436 already.
One of the main bugbears I have with the 436 is with NXDN and DMR Conventional programming: if I add an Alphatag to the channel, then you're unable to see the TGID and User ID for any hits it gets. It doesn't record this metadata either to audio recordings on the SD card. The only way round this sees to be to program up the channel but leave the alphatag blank. It's counter intuitive to have a scanner with big display and yet not be able to use it to see the most basic data if you add alphatag info.
Can anyone with an SDS100 confirm if exhibits the same behavior or is it actually fixed on the SDS100?
(Note I'm already familiar with DMR or NXDN One Frequency programming as an alternative, but this is a real pain for in-the field programming and also misses many transmissions, especially simplex comms. I'm only interested in Conventional programming).
