Hello, I live in Santa Cruz county and currently have a TRX-1. I pick up analog frequencies fine and do pick up the digital Control 2 frequency from southern Santa Clara County, but I am seeing that Monterey County is simulcast. Has anyone compared the TRX-1 with the SDS100 in the Monterey Bay area? Is there a noticeable difference is it not worth the upgrade given the amount of encryption on the Monterey system?
